About this development
Construction of the Emzinoni bulk water supply in the Govan Mbeki Local Municipality, Mpumalanga Province. CIDB 8CE. Scope of works: installation of a 315mm oPVC Class bulk water pipe of length 5010m and refurbishment works at the ground reservoirs and additional storage. The pipe will be interconnected with the main line from the N17 to the Extension 4 ground reservoir in Emzinoni. Included in scope is the construction of 38m² pump station with 2 pumps of 75kw motors including all pipe works and valves. Construction of guard house. Refurbishment of 475kL steel tank and construction of new elevated steel tank of 876kL. The site is located within the jurisdictional boundaries of Goven Mbeki Local Municipality of Bethal. The geographical co-ords are: Start of pipeline 26°17'17.35"S 29°24'58.14"E and the end of the pipeline at the reservoir is 26°29'21.71"S 29°25'41.46"E. The marker has been placed at the reservoir.
