About this development
Construction of a solar photovoltaic energy facility as well as associated infrastructure on the remainder and Portion 2 of the farm De Grooteboom 373 KT in the Greater Tubatse Local Municipality, Limpopo Province. The proposed development area is approximately 249 hectares. The solar PV planned generation capacity output will be up to 130 Megawatts. The Platinum PV project is being developed with the aim of generating renewable energy to supply to the national grid under the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPP) or for private off take. The exact coordinates are not known the marker has been placed 16 km south of Steelpoort as per the locality map 24°56'37.0"S 30°08'44.2"E
