About this development
Construction of a liquid fuel storage depot near Nelspruit for the proposed Petroline Holdings pipeline. This depot forms one component of the project to develop a petroleum pipeline between Matola Harbour (Mozambique) and Kendal (Mpumalanga, South Africa). The pipeline will transport 5 million cubic meters of liquid fuel per year, substantially increasing Mozambique's exports to South Africa and reducing the number of tanker trucks on the roads. The project is budgeted to cost US$600 million.
