Construction of a 50MW ac solar power plant in Egypt within the new and renewable Energy Agency's 37.5km Benban solar pak comprising 39 separate PV plots, situated 12km west of Benban village and 15km west of the Nile River. It will comprise a single-axis tracking system of about 201 000 PV panels, with a nominal capacity of 50MW ac and a peak capacity of 63.36 MW dc. Estimated total project cost $126.1 million.
