Shadwan 900MW Wind Project, Egypt

Construction of the 900MW Shadwan Onshore Wind Project, located in Ras Shukeir, Egypt. The total project value is US$716 million (R11.93 billion). The project will comprise 83 wind turbines and is expected to generate approximately 4TWh of electricity annually, avoiding an estimated 1.6 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions per year. The scope of works include but are not limited to the development and construction of the wind farm, supply and installation of wind turbine generators, civil and electrical balance-of-plant works, substations, grid connection infrastructure, engineering, procurement and construction.
