The Nokuhle Colliery is situDevelopment of the proposed Nokuhle Colliery near Ogiesated approximately 10km south of the N12 on the farm Ogiesfontein 4 IS, Mpumalanga Province. The site currently consists of agricultural fields, with no mine infrastructure. The following surface instructure is proposed : A pollution control dam, potable water storage infrastructure, various pipelines, two diesel storage tanks, construction of a haul road, conversion of undeveloped vacant land outside an urban area to a mining site. Other infrastructure that will be constructed includes: Office building, control room, workshop, change house and ablution facilities, overburden and topsoil stockpiles, sewage treatment plant and electrical transformer.
