Construction of luxury condominiums for the U-shaped Nile Corniche mixed use development in Cairo, Egypt, which will consist of two towers. One of the towers will be 31 stories and 136 meters high, making it the tallest building in Egypt. The Nile Corniche is a 197 000m² mixed use development along the Corniche on the east bank of the Nile River. This luxury property is organized as two towers above a podium and below-grade service and parking. Tower 1 contains offices at its base, 102 luxury condominiums and a multi-level penthouse. The L-shaped Tower 2, with retail at its base, contains a six-star St. Regis hotel with 283 rooms and 93 serviced apartments. The project has 37 floors above grade and four below.
