About this development
Construction of a New Xanthate plant, in Sasolburg, Free State which would produce xanthate in a pelletized form. Although xanthate is available in liquid form, for export purposes, it is safer to transport the pelletized version. This new plant will be possible as a result of the further expansion project of the the CS2 plant for Chemserve.
