About this development
Construction of the new Mutlumuvi dam, along the Crocodile East River in the Mpumalanga Province. This will decrease transfer from the Sabie River. In this way, water will be available for increased domestic use. This is part of the Inkomati Water Management Project. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available so the general co-ordinates for the Province of Mpumalanga have been used, -25.565336, 30.5279096. When the location of the dam has been decided, the GPS will be updated. Please note: This is one of four options for one dam planned for the Inkomati Water project. After the feasibility study has been done, a site will be chosen.
