About this development
Construction of Western Highveld bulk water supply scheme, Work Package 2, in Dr JS Moroka Local Municipality, Nkangala District Municipality, Mpumalanga. CIDB 9CE. The villages: Masobe, Nokoneng, Mantiole, Mmaduma, Mmamethlake, Phake and Rankaile fall within 10 wards in Dr JS Moroka. The Works comprise the construction, installation, testing and commissioning of a bulk water supply and distribution system, including but not limited to the following: Bulk Water Distribution System: Construction of a rising main from the command reservoir to the 1 000kL Masobe elevated tank, including a booster pump station, gravity main from the Masobe elevated tank to the 150kL Mantiole elevated tank, a gravity main from the command reservoir to the 300kL Rankaile elevated tank, gravity main from the Rankaile off-take to the 1 000kL Phake ground-level reservoir, gravity main from the Phake off-take to the 1 000kL Mmametlake elevated tank, gravity main from the Mmametlake off-take to the existing 1 000kL Nokaneng elevated tank, gravity main from the Nokaneng off-take to the existing 1 000kL Rapotokwane elevated tank, gravity main from the Nokaneng off-take to the existing 250kL Ramantsho elevated tank, gravity main from the Nokaneng off-take to the existing 150kL, 100kL and 30kL Semohlase elevated tanks, gravity main from the Semohlase off-take to the existing 500kL Loding elevated tank, gravity main from the Seabe off-take to the existing 100kL Greenside elevated tank, gravity main from the Greenside off-take to the existing 6 000kL Marapyane Reservoir, gravity main from the Seabe off-take to the Seabe elevated tank and 1 500kL Seabe elevated tank, gravity main from the Seabe off-take to the Katjibane elevated tank and 1 500kL Katjibane elevated tank. Construction and commissioning of 3 booster pump stations, each comprising two pumps together with all associated civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control works. Borehole equipping and bulk supply pipelines. The GPS marker has been placed at Masobe Village 25°09'24.0"S 28°24'47.0"E
