About this development
Construction of the Ndau Solar Energy Facility 2 a photovoltaic solar energy generation facility, of up to 80 MW in capacity, and associated infrastructure with a total footprint of up to 101.95 ha, located on Portion 5 (Portion of Portion 2) of the Farm Rotterdam No. 12 and Remaining Extent of Portion 2 of the Farm Rotterdam No. 12, 27km south-west of Polokwane in the Limpopo Province. The project could entail:solar field/solar arrays, internal access road, a main access road and secondary access road, internal electrical reticulation, an on-site substation hub and associated infrastructure (substation, transformation infrastructure, collector infrastructure, step-up infrastructure, BESS etc.) including auxiliary buildings (operation & maintenance buildings, admin buildings, workshops, gatehouse, security building, offices, visitor centre, warehouses, etc.) contained within up to approximately a 3ha footprint. The GPS marker has been placed at the central point of the development 24°1'23.85"S 29°12'57.00"E
