About this development
Construction of the Ndau Solar Energy Facility 1 a photovoltaic solar energy generation facility, of up to 120 MW in capacity, and associated infrastructure with a total footprint of 138 ha, located on Portion 19 of the Farm Rietvley No. 13, 27 km south-west of Polokwane in the Limpopo Province. The project could entail:solar field/solar arrays, internal access road, a main access road , internal electrical reticulation, an on-site substation hub and associated infrastructure (substation, transformation infrastructure, collector infrastructure, step-up infrastructure, BESS etc.) including auxiliary buildings (operation & maintenance buildings, admin buildings, workshops, gatehouse, security building, offices, visitor centre, warehouses, etc.) contained within up to approximately a 5 ha footprint. The GPS marker has been placed at the central point of the development 24°3'8.16"S 29°13'22.28"E
