About this development
The Nabanga gold deposit is located 250km south-east of Ouagadougou and lies within Orbis Gold’s 100%-owned Nabanga exploration permit in Burkina Faso, West Africa. The Nabanga deposit is defined at surface by a 2.3 kilometre long north-east trending zone of shallow artisanal gold workings that have exploited high grade gold mineralisation. A maiden resource estimate was completed for the deposit in late 2012 and confirmed Nabanga as a high grade deposit with grades substantially above those typical of West Africa.
