About this development
Establishment of a helicopter landing pad at the main offices and re-alignment of existing powerlines at the Middelburg Townlands Colliery (MTC). The mine is situated on the Remainder of Portion 27 of the Farm Middelburg in the Mpumalanga Province. An opencast mine will be developed and the plant will be moved from MTC to the adjacent farm on Elandspruit 291 JS to the west of the property; the construction of an explosives emulsion silo; and the potential construction of a bridge across the R575, should the road not be mined.
