About this development
Upgrade of the Montrose Intersection at the convergence of MDC Section 6N and MDC Section 6E, Elandsvalei and Schoemanskloof, to a free flow systems interchange in Mpumalanga. Value is approx R248m. The scope of works includes the construction of four new interchange ramps, the widening of the existing two-lane Crocodile bridge from two to five lanes, two new arch bridges across the existing Elands Vallei Section (N4-7X) and to accommodate two new ramps. High mast lighting will also be installed to illuminate the new interchange. The GPS co-ordinates are 25°27'03.0"S 30°42'35.4"E
