Majuba Railway Project

Construction of railway line and associated infrastructure from Ermelo to Majuba stations, approximately 67.5km - Part of CTS Project - linking the power station and the existing Richards Bay export coal railway line to supply Majuba Power Station. Eskom Holdings Limited invites you to submit a proposal for the Provision of Project Management Support Services for the Majuba Rail Siding construction phase. The proposed rail siding consist of a heavy haul railway line of approximately 67.5km starting approximately 8km west of Ermelo with the take off from Spoornet's coal export line to the Majuba Power Station rail terminal. The design of the siding is well advanced and Eskom Holdings Limited now invites contractors who are experienced and capable of carrying out the works to participate in the tender process.
