About this development
The Kouri Project covers an area of 57km² located 230km north east of Ouagadougou, in Burkina Faso in the highly prospective Lower Proterozoic Birimian “Samira Hill” greenstone belt. It is traversed by a significant NE-trending fault splay which is connected to the major Markoye Fault system. This fault system controls a number of major gold deposits in Burkina Faso. Golden Rim has completed 4 campaigns of RC drilling at Kouri (April-May 2013, May 2014, April-June 2015 and June 2017) for a total of 139 holes for 18 598m. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the approximate area of location is lat: 12.0503212; long: -1.5244016.
