Kotulo Tsatsi Energy Concentrated Solar Power Facility - Tower and Trough Technology

Construction of up to 1000MW Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) Energy Facility (comprising 3 tower plants with a generation capacity of up to 200MW each, and 2 trough plants with a generation capacity of up to 200MW each) and two Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Energy Facilities each with a generation capacity of up to 100MW, located on a site near Kenhardt in the Northern Cape. The facilities which are proposed to make up the Solar Park are as follows: Proposed Kotulo Tsatsi Energy up to 1000MW Concentrated Solar Power Facility (including both tower and trough technology). * Tower technology: 3 facilities with a generating capacity of up to 200MW each. * Trough technology: 2 facilities with a generating capacity of up to 200MW each. The project is located on Portion 2 of Farm Styns Vley 280. The GPS co-ordinates are 29°46'05.2"S 20°34'07.7"E.
