Kendal Colliery Expansion Project, Mpumalanga

The Kendal mine is a moderate coal resource, largely mineable by opencast methods and situated about 100km east of Johannesburg, in the Mpumalanga Province. The expansion project includes adding another module to the washing plant and opening new mining areas. The expansion of the project is estimated at R150 million. The first phase development costs R100 million.
