The Isibonelo Colliery is located approximately km due east of Johannesburg, 60 km south of Witbank in Mpumalanga. The project involves water management construction for Phases 2 and 3 at the Colliery. Isibonelo Colliery is proposing to construct a stormwater diversion channel to the south west of its existing stormwater diversion channel within the mine lease area which will ensure clean water is diverted away from the south pit mining operations.
