About this development
Development of a Health Care Risk Waste (HCRW) treatment facility for the Free State. The facility will comprise of an autoclave machine and a shredder. The Autoclave Machine will have the capacity of 300 tons per month, a cycle period of 60 minutes, 4 bins per load and a vacuum system with 0,81 - 0,95 bars capacity. The building requirements will include a loading and off-loading area, storage area for the autoclave machine, wash bay area and a warehouse for consumables. The site identified for the facility is situated inside the old incinerator building, at the existing National Hospital in Bloemfontein in the Free State.
