About this development
Construction of a steel inlet main for phase 2 of the Hammarsdale High Level Reservoir going through Wards 04 & 103 in Hammarsdale, KwaZulu-Natal. CIDB 7CE. The scope of work could include the construction of approximately 2700m long, 500mm ᴓ steel inlet main. The 500mm Ø pipeline route starts at the existing Phase 1 pipeline, and travels southwest and then connects into the existing bullnose or endcap at the existing 500mm Ø, Western Aqueduct pipeline and at the reservoir site. The 500mm Ø pipeline is located in Hammarsdale area near Inchanga. This proposed pipeline traverses several private properties and access roads. Access to the site is via N3 Freeway, Mthoko Mkhize Drive and Keystone park Industrial site.The GPS marker has been placed at the Hammarsdale waste water treatment works 29°47'59.9"S 30°39'44.6"E
