About this development
Construction of an F1 Grand Prix Precinct located near Kalbaskraal, in the Swartland Municipality, Western Cape, close to Malmesbury and along the N7 corridor. This project is estimated at R6.7 billion ($410 million). The scope of works could include but is not limited to: a motorsport circuit expected to accommodate around 125,000 spectators and an automotive hub as well as a pit stop. The exact GPS coordinates are not known at this stage, and the marker has been placed along the N7 corridor next to Kalbaskraal, 33°33'47.0"S 18°37'32.3"E.
