F1 Grand Prix Precinct - Infrastructure

Construction of bulk earthworks and civil infrastructure for the F1 Grand Prix Precinct located near Kalbaskraal, in the Swartland Municipality, Western Cape, close to Malmesbury and along the N7 corridor. This project is estimated at R6.7 billion ($410 million). The scope of works could include but is not limited to: approximately 600 hectares, which will consist of a motorsport circuit expected to accommodate around 125,000 spectators, as well as hospitality areas, conference facilities, an automotive hub, driving academy, karting tracks and residential properties. The exact GPS coordinates are not known at this stage, and the marker has been placed along the N7 corridor next to Kalbaskraal, 33°33'47.0"S 18°37'32.3"E.
