About this development
Development of a platinum mine of the farm Vygenhoek 10JT in Mpumalanga for Aquarius Platinum (SA) (Pty) Ltd. The proposed project, referred to as the Everest North Project, will involve both opencast and underground mining, mineral processing plants, waste disposal facilities for tailings and waste rock and supporting services including a number of identified activities. The project will be located approximately 30km west of Lydenburg and 35km south of Steelpoort, in the Enhlanzeni District of the Mpumalanga Province. The farm falls within the Thaba Chweu Local Municipality.
