Construction of the Engineering Operations Centre (EOC) for the South African Radio Astronomy Observatory (SARAO) at Klerefontein, Northern Cape. The project value is R 302 635 800,36. The scope of works will include: SARAO will require the services of various specialists (Architectural including Structural) Engineers conduct the necessary inspections and provide detailed designs ready for execution including regulatory compliance and approval. The construction and addition of the EOC main building (to accommodate 150 staff); workshop building; vehicle service workshop; generator and diesel storage building; revamp of the old shed/workshop; revamp of the old farm house; special installations of building services (incl. security systems, sprinkler/ fire suppression systems, fibre & data network, signage, genset & back-up, air conditioning); external works (incl. roadworks, paving, landscaping, pathway lighting, fencing) and bulk services (incl. electrical supply, electrical power line rerouting, water supply, waste water disposal, soil drainage, storm water drainage, fibre connection, relocation of existing services). The exact GPS location is not known and the Marker has been placed at the site meeting in the Klerefontein Support Base : 30°58'24.28"S, 21°59'43.21"E
