About this development
Construction of a Photovoltaic (PV) or Concentrated Photovoltaic (CPV) Solar Facility with a generating capacity of 100MW. The Douglas solar energy facility will be connected to the Eskom grid via the Ovaal Pumps substation located approximately 1km from the site. The facility will be located on Roode Kop Farm (Portion 1 of Farm 5), 10km southwest of Douglas, in the Northern Cape. he exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the marker has been placed on farm Roode Kop, 31°19'44.1"S 24°10'04.9"E
