About this development
Establishment of the Vlakpan Solar Park, a renewable energy generation facility. The project will consist of construction, operation and maintenance of a Photovoltaic (PV) Power Plant with associated infrastructure and structures having a generating capacity up to 75MW. The project site is on Portion 2 of the Farm Vlakpan No. 59 Hopetown RD, in the Douglas area, in the Northern Cape. Access to the site will be from the R357 regional road, which runs on the south eastern boundary of the property. he exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the marker has been placed on farm Vlak pan, 29°25'20.0"S 23°15'29.2"E.
