Development of a private siding, Kendal, Mpumalanga

Development of a private siding on Portion 28 and 29 of the farm Heuvelfontein 215 IR, Kendal, Mpumalanga. A coal handling facility and associated infrastructure would form part of this development. Coal products will be stockpiled on site and will them be loaded onto the train trucks by means of front-end loaders. The rail siding would be able to handle 100 train trucks. It is estimated that approximately 250 000 tons of coal per month would be railed from the private siding. The proposed siding will be located on Portions 28 and 29 of the farm Heuvelfontein 215 IR, Kendal. The said site is located in close proximity to the Kendal Station, where another mining company also operates a private siding. The private siding will be approximately 1300m in length and 500m wide.
