About this development
Delmas Coal (subsidiary of Kuyasa Mining) is proposing to expand its current underground mining operation at the Delmas Coal Mine in Mpumalanga. It plans to include new coal reserves in the mining plan, which are located to the south and south-west of its current sections. In addition to the proposed mining expansion they plan to remediate and upgrade the mine residue facility and the two pollution control dams at the North Shaft section of the mine.
