About this development
Construction of mass earthworks, layer works, surfacing, and drainage on district road 1014 from km 2+5 To km 7+57 near Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal. CIDB 8CE. The scope of works includes: The project comprises the upgrading of an existing 5.2km of gravel road in terms of geometric design and improved layer works and surfacing, either 40mm asphalt or 150mm continuously reinforced concrete (CRCP) the pavement on the steeper road sections. The road will be upgraded to a Type 4 standard cross-section with a road width of 7m and includes the upgrading of the associated road prism drainage.
