About this development
Construction of a Cow Hotel for 500 cows and Pigsty for 300 to 400, pigs producing 8500 to 9000 piglets, in Ficksburg in the Free State Province. The Cow Hotel will supply energy to this breeding establishment (for cooling or heating). The construction of a 20 000m² Biogas Plant to generate electricity. The Biogas Plant will receive cow dung and urine from the Cow Hotel and process it by extracting methane gas and finally generating electricity.
