Corobrick Coal Mine, Mpumalanga

Corobrick has applied for a mining right for coal on Portion of Portion 3 of the farm Duvha Kragstasie 337 J.S. The proposed mine site coves an area of approximately 67 hectares and is situated approximately 19 km to the south east of Emalahleni and approximately 2km to the east of the Eskom Duvha Power Station. Open cast mining will be carried out to extract the coal reserves. The mining activities will comprise drilling and blasting of harder materials, excavating and loading of materials, and haulage of materials.
