Construction of Borakalalo water supply starting at the Motswedi water treatment plant, Borakalalo, Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality, North West. Value of R106 764 538.93. Scope of work includes: Refurbishment/upgrade of the Motswedi water treatment works (sand filter, air filter blowers, supply of 3300 m3/d modular UF membrane unit, manufacturing of modular unit, transport, installation and commissioning), refurbishment of Motswedi water scheme intermediate pump station, refurbishment and electrification of ten existing boreholes, testing of one borehole, installation of a three-Year automated borehole monitoring system, tracing of the existing water mains for 10km, construction of approximately 12km of HDPE/uPVC bulk and reticulation mains of diameters ranging from 50mm to 160mm. Construction of approximate 4000 erf connections. Erection of several elevated steel tanks. Clean and chlorinate existing six concrete reservoir and refurbish where required.
