The demolition of approximately 17 000m² of buildings and steel structures (including the pharmacy, medical ward, two hostel blocks, mortuary, nurses training centre, doctor's flats and a lecture room) and the construction of approximately 30 000m² of new buildings (including new wards, kitchen, mortuary, gas bank, laboratory, high care theatre, a casualty ward, x-ray & details facilities, out patient department and a high tech administration office).
