About this development
Expansion and additions to the existing Ardagh Glass Packaging Nigel Plant including construction of new 3rd furnace, cullet plant and installation of 2 x above-ground storage tanks situated on on Erf 104, Portion 0, Pretoriusstad Extension 7, which is approximately 3km northwest of the Nigel Central Business District within the jurisdiction of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM), Gauteng Province. The site can be accessed via Visagie Road, which is located on the eastern boundary of the study area. The site is approximately 40 hectares in extent. GPS is: 26°25'12.8"S 28°26'46.8"E
