The development of the 600MW Tankatara solar photovoltaic plant plant on Portion 1 of Farm 643, Tankatara, Gqeberha, Eastern Cape. The solar PV plant components would include solar panel arrays covering a footprint of approximately 920ha, a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) for the storage of surplus energy, an on-site substation, transmission lines and related transformers, inverters, internal roads and operational buildings. The GPS coordinates are 33°41'04.3"S 25°43'42.8"E .
