370MW Rampower Solar Facility

Construction of a 370MW solar photovoltaic and 20MW battery energy storage system facility on Portion 239 of the Farm Hartebeespoort C 419 JQ at Brits under the jurisdiction of Madibeng Local Municipality in North West Province. Scope of works could include: The solar facility will entail the following: 549,080 photovoltaic panels with approximately 2.5 – 3 meters in height, ground mounted (horizontal single-axis tracking) mounting structure, Sungrow's SG1100UD inverters, the cabling of 23 to 29 modules (string size) within a wiring zone, substation and BESS footprints with approximately 5 hectares, grid connection corridor length (14km) & width (31m) with 300m study corridor, internal and access roads and associated buildings footprints with approximately 3 hectares.
