About this development
Construction of the 150MW Sunbird Photovoltaic facility in Stilfontein, North West. The Sunbird PV facility will occupy 280ha across several farm portions and comprises these key components: PV arrays with a maximum capacity of 150MW, internal cabling connecting panels, inverters and transformers, Lithium-Ion Battery Energy Storage System, 11-33kV underground cable/overhead power line, internal gravel roads, fencing & lighting, storm water infrastructure, water supply and water storage infrastructure and offices, including ablutions with septic tank/conservancy tanks sewage treatment infrastructure. The GPS marker has been placed at the centre point of the Stillfontein Cluster 26°46'53.9"S 26°53'19.6"E
