About this development
Construction of the 150MW Starling Photovoltaic facility in Stilfontein, North West. The Starling PV facility will occupy 275 hectares across several farm portions and comprises these key components: PV arrays with a maximum capacity of 150MW, internal cabling connecting panels, inverters and transformers, Lithium-Ion Battery Energy Storage System, 11-33kV underground cable/overhead power line, internal gravel roads, fencing & lighting, storm water infrastructure, water supply and water storage infrastructure and offices, including ablutions with septic tank/conservancy tanks sewage treatment infrastructure. The GPS marker has been placed at the centre point of the Stillfontein Cluster 26°46'53.9"S 26°53'19.6"E
