Construction of a switching station, which includes building four new 132kV feeder bays, installing 132kV isolators with surge arrestors, installing a set of feeder current transformer, installing 132kV breaker, installing a 132kV isolators and installing a set of power voltage transformers. The project is located on Portion 12 of the farm Schaapkraal 42JT, north west of Mashishing (formerly Lydenburg) in the Booysensdal area, 7km west of Boshfontein, Mpumalanga. The aim of SS is to serve as a backup system to ensure continuity of supply to the Northam Mine. GPS 30°10'20.4"S 25°5'53.4"E
