About this development
Construction of services and infrastructure for the proposed 1000MW power plant located in the Port of Ngqura, Zone 13 of the SEZ, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. The plant will occupy an 18ha piece of land on the south east part of Zone 13 and will have an ultimate generating capacity of 1 000MW. An initial liquid fuel diesel and/or HFO fuelled phase of operation at 130MW power generation unit is planned. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the approximate area of location is Port of Ngqura, Latitude -33.7950994 Longitude 25.6966742
