About this development
The objective of the Zanzibar Urban Services Project (ZUSP) is to improve access to urban services on Unguja island, the main island in the archipelago of Zanzibar in the Indian Ocean. This will include the design and construction of a surface water drainage system in the Ng'ambo area implementing a solid water collection and transportation system, the upgrading and installation of street lights and the sea wall including a promenade along Mizingani Road in Stone Town, a World Heritage site. Total project value: US$ 38 million.
