About this development
Construction of the sewage treatment plant for the development of a ±7.5ha holiday housing estate consisting of 68 or 75 sub-divided residential erven, private open space and tourist facilities (i.e. a clubhouse, restaurant, parking area and overnight facility with bed and breakfast) on a portion of Portion 20 of Farm No. 560, Yzerfontein in the Western Cape. The proposed development is located approximately 2km north of the Municipal Office in Yzerfontein. Access to the proposed development will be via a private servitude road from Main Road 215 over the neighbouring property (Erf 2532). Approximately 900m of this gravel access road will be developed as part of this application (the remaining ± 2.5km gravel access road is existing). This private rural servitude road will have a 6 meter wide gravel surface within a ten meter wide servitude. It is further proposed to install a package sewage treatment plant on Erf 2532 (±140m2).
