About this development
Construction of the Potsdam Engineering Building, on Farm 1408, WSU Potsdam Campus, near Fort Jackson, East London, Eastern Cape. CIDB 8GB. The scope of works includes but is not limited to: The building will comprise of concrete frame, brickwork infill and suspended concrete floor slabs, steel rafters and Kliplok roof sheets. All bulk services will have been installed. There will be two storeys, ground floor and first floor with a center passage, providing a link to each of the lecture venues and laboratories on ground floor. The first-floor passage will provide a pedestrian link to the offices spaces and auditorium. Natural light will be defused though roof lights, and filtered through the passage lightwells. A new lift is planned to link both floors. The ablutions are situated above each other with all services contained with a vertical duct. A pedestrian paved link will provide assess from the existing building to the new engineering building. The exact GPS co-ordinates are 32°54'05.2"S 27°39'53.3"E.
