Wouterspan Alluvial Diamond Project, Northern Cape

The Wouterspan project is located opposite Rockswell's Saxendrift diamond mine, on the Orange river and is central to Rockwell's strategy to process 500 000 m³/m of high quality gravels from the middle Orange River region. The property has estimated inferred resources of 37.77 million cubic meters and indicated resources estimated at 5.026 million cubic meters, grading 0.84%. Envisaged is a plant with a capacity of 1200t/h or 345 000m³/m, comprising three processing streams to handle the coarse and midsized gravels and a dense-media separation stream to process the fine material.
