United African Group is ready to commence with the construction of the Eliakim Namundjebo Hotel in Windhoek, Namibia, part of the Freedom Plaza development. The five star hotel will comprise 8 storeys with 124 rooms and suites, up-market retail shops, casino, internet facilities, business lounge, travellers bar, restaurants, conference centre, wellness centre and a nightclub with a panoramic view of the city. The site is bordered by Independence Avenue to the West, Sam Nujoma Avenue to the south and Rev Michael Scott Street to the east. This hotel is Phase 1 of the construction which includes the 13 500m² hotel, two basements, two public floors and nine guest room floors. Estimated project value of the hotel portion: N$250 million.
