Watershed-Mmabatho Power Line

Construction of a 88kV power line from Watershed Distribution Substation (DS) near Lichtenburg, to Mmabatho Bulk Substation (a Major Transmission (MTS)) near Mmabatho and Mafikeng, in the North West Province. The power line will pass along the same route as the existing direct Watershed-Mmabatho XX Distribution power line, approximately a 60km distance, and will be supplied from the old 88kV Zeerust feeder bay at the Watershed DS. A new 88kV feeder bay will be constructed and a 88/88kV 120 MVA booster will be installed, both at the Mmabatho bulk substation.
