About this development
Construction of a water supply distribution system in Kenya. The project includes the construction works for water supply distribution system - Last mile connectivity for Siaya, Bondo, Migori, Isebania and Keroka Towns; LOT 1 - Keroka Town. Scope: i. Replacement of new 100m long DN 250mm epoxy coated cement lined rising main; ii. construction of distribution network pipelines ranging from 20mm dia to 110mm over a total length of 51km; iii. renovation works of 2No. 225m³ booster station storage tanks; iv. construction of 300m³ steel elevated tank; v. Construction of 3 No. 5m³ break pressure tanks along the backline to treatment works; vi. supply and installation of various sizes of pressure reducing valves at various locations within the network; vii. supply and installation of connection fittings for the 2 No. 100m³ existing tanks, viii. supply and installation of 2 No booster solar pumps capable of delivering 62m³/h complete with 15 KW solar panels; ix. supply and installation of electro-magnetic zonal water meters and domestic meters; x. construction of guard house at wetlands tanks.
