About this development
Wajir County Government in Kenya wishes to upgrade the Wajir Town roads to bitumen standard. The design, expected to end early next month, will allow the tarmacking of the Garissa-Mandera road, Airport Road and other key roads in the town to open up infrastructure in the county. Wajir currently has no tarmac roads. The county government hopes to cover more than 25km within the town by the end of this financial year. Graveling and leveling of other inter-constituency roads is also ongoing in other parts of the county. Estimated project value : Sh389.4 million.
